General Information

GPDV facilitates an ongoing program of statewide events, which bring together Board members and staff of Divisions of General Practice in Victoria.  These events enable a shared approach to consultation, resource development, professional development and consultation about program and policy development.

The agenda for each event and a registration form will be circulated by fax or email to all Victorian and Tasmanian Divisions of General Practice approximately four weeks prior to the event and contains the program for the day, venue information and the due date for registrations. Registrations usually close about one week prior to an event. To secure a place as a participant at a GPDV event, please ensure you register by the appropriate date. Please note:
Registrations need to be made in writing on a registration form.  If you have not received the faxback registration form for an event, please contact Eliza at GPDV (contact details provided above) or download and complete the generic registration form. Once completed, send your form to Eliza by either fax or email before the closing date for enrolment (approximately one week before the event).

Venue, catering and speaker costs for events are generally met by GPDV.  However, a fee of $55 may apply when a participant attends an event for which they have not registered or does not cancel a registration at least 48 hours prior to an event.  This fee can be avoided if participants register prior to events and provide timely cancellation advice if they are no longer able to attend.
