1. Define a standard of reasonable provision of after hours primary medical care in Victoria.
2. Define criteria for best practise in after hours primary medical care provision.
3. Evaluate and advise on models of after hour care and their transferability to various Victorian environments.
4. Identify and advise on current issues pertaining to after hours primary medical care in Victoria.
5. Identify barriers to the provision of �best practise� after hours care and potential methods for overcoming these barriers.
6. Identify and support opportunities and paths to collaboration between various departments, service providers and stakeholders to assist in the provision of integrated after hours care throughout Victoria.
7. Identify and advise on data sources that may assist with the assessment of current after hours service provision and utilisation and sources that will assist with planning and development of after hours primary medical care services.
8. Provide ongoing advice and support to the GPDV After Hours Primary Medical Care Program.
9. Identify after hours models that are sustainable.
10. Examine medico-legal issues relating to after hours medical care.
