The Whitehorse Division of General Practice have prepared an excellent resource which explores the evidence about nurse led chronic disease clinics. It provides detailed information about what is involved including the pros and cons of establishing such a clinic. The document provides information on the financial incentives and funding issues including EPC and CDM items, the role of subsidies and the pros and cons of charging patient fees.
