Star Divisions

Overview

The Star Divisions program is an overarching program covering GPV work to support the Victorian divisions of general practice to function effectively. Major components include the CEO Networks, board governance and representatives� development, division staff workshop program and calendar and individualised consultancy.

Program Objectives

Victorian divisions operate effectively as organisations to support general practice and to manage change
divisions are able to demonstrate their governance, management and program delivery processes are consistent with national standards in the health sector.

Strategic Approaches

Readily accessible individual consultation with, and advice to, divisions
provide benchmarking across Victorian divisions in key areas of operations
offer structured opportunities for building enhanced skills and experience for division staff
development of generic resources for use by Victorian divisions
