Aims

Workshop participants will be able to:

• describe the eligibility requirements and financial benefits of Medicare Benefits Schedule (MBS) items and Practice Incentive Program (PIP) payments,  particularly related to Enhanced Primary Care, Chronic Disease Prevention and Management, and Multi-disciplinary Care.
• list implementation issues identified through consideration of a 'demonstration' example from a general practice utilising all items and payments and other workshop activities
• identify priorities for application in their own settings and first steps in an implementation plan.
