Overview
There are currently 19 projects funded in Victoria, involving 24 divisions, of which 12 divisions are in urban areas and 7 divisions in rural locations. Nine divisions across five project sites were funded in 2002/03; and six divisions in early 2003. Nine divisions have been funded from June 2003/04.

The project models implemented by the divisions funded in 2002/03 include:
- the division contracts with CBT-oriented psychologists for services (Knox);
- individual and group therapy is offered by psychologists on contract with the
- division and using the Primary Mental Health Team clinicians as triage (North West Melbourne);
- a voucher system for services from a range of public and private providers,
- including Aboriginal mental health (Dandenong/Greater South Eastern);
- a voucher system using private psychologists contracted by the division (Gippsland);
- psychiatric nurses co-located in GP practices, contracted by the division, and
- a psychologist as supervisor and clinical service provider, also contracted with the division (Bendigo/Murray Plains).
