Objectives
- To provide an overview of the issues associated with partner abuse and the related presentations in general practice, and to describe divisional level experience of conducting GP training in depression and partner abuse; and to provide an update on the Alcohol Education and Rehabilitation Foundation (AERF) funding from ADGP.
- To inform participants of three key primary mental health research studies funded by beyondblue through the Victorian Centre for Excellence in Depression and Related Disorders
- To inform participants about the current evaluation of the Primary Mental Health and Early Intervention (PMHEI) teams and the EHS/McKesson Access to Psychiatrist Advice trial with the opportunity for discussion on these topics
- To gather feedback from divisions and PMHEI teams regarding future models for working with and strengthening the PMH&EI initiative.
