Silver Book

On Friday 19th May the 4th edition of the Medical care of older persons in residential aged care facilities (the silver book) was launched by the RACGP at the Southport Residential Aged Care Facility. The silver book distils international and local best practice literature with the wisdom of health professional groups to provide advice on clinical best practice and systems based care.

The silver based book is being distributed via the Divisions of General Practice and the ADGP was involved in the production of the book, and have also endrosed it. The guide is available as a pdf and also as a more useable online version (click here). A CD-Rom of the online version is included with each hardcopy of the silver book you received and more copies of the CD-Rom are available from the RACGP.
