Immunisation The GPDV Immunisation Program aims to improve the quality of vaccination services provided by general practice though Divisions of General Practice, with the overall goal of improving immunisation rates in Victoria. The major focus of the immunisation program is participation of general practitioners in the General Practice Immunisation (GPII) program with the outcome of improving overall immunisation coverage rates to >90% in children fully immunised under seven years of age. Data cleaning has been a major focus in Victoria resulting in higher than national average coverage rates for all cohorts. Other activities include representation of Victorian Divisions on a national and state level, including the DHS Immunisation Advisory Committee.
