Terms of Reference
Objectives:
- To provide information and advice to GPDV about statewide issues and training needs that need to be addressed by divisions, Practice Nurses, GPs and others in the rollout of the Practice Nurse Initiative
- To provide comment and feedback to inform the planning and implementation of GPDV's activities to support divisions in the establishment and operation of the Practice Nurse Initiative
- To provide strategic advice on how best to promote the role of the Practice Nurse as part of a well functioning multidisciplinary team
- To have input into any state or national evaluation of the program
Selection Criteria for Representatives:
- Special interest and experience in involving team work approach in the General Practice setting
- Understanding and experience of planning and program development
- Understanding of nursing as a profession in its own right
