GPDV is pleased to offer Victorian & Tasmanian divisions a 'CDM Team' speaker for a CPD event, from November '05 to March '06. With the assistance of divisions GPDV has successfully recruited a dynamic team of trainers. Having completed a train the trainer facilitated by Dr Trina Gregory & Michael Janssen on the 22nd October the CDM Team is enthusiastic and available to speak at divisional events. Divisions are required to complete a booking form EOI for Divisions.doc by the 10th of November to access a GP speaker for an event.

GPDV is offering divisions a choice of 2 modules:
 
Module 1 - Better Practice Rewards for Better Care - Awareness Raising about New CDM Items
Content includes:

• Background to introduction of CDM items
• CDM item basics
• CDM & other items eg SIP
• CDM and Allied Health Medicare items

The target audience may be GP, Practice Staff, Practice Nurses/networks or Practice Managers/Networks, publicly or privately funded Allied Health Professionals.

Module 2 - Team work in General Practice - Focuses on how practices can help their teams work more affectively together
This module will be made available in '06 dependant on demand.
