April 2005 Dr Ruth Stewart This group is meeting to review the guidelines on antenatal car developed by the Monash, Mercy and Royal Women’s hospital in 2002. The aim is to strengthen the evidence base for the guidelines and gain a broad based consensus for the guidelines for antenatal care both within the hospitals and in the wider medical community. The GPDV representative will be required to monitor the usability of the guidelines for general and rural practice. At this meeting the process to be followed in formulating the guidelines was outlined.
