Policy Issues Papers
The purpose of GPDV's Policy Issues Papers is to:
- ensure that divisions and their GP members are informed about specific issues affecting general practice
- promote discussion among GPs and divisions about policy issues
- provide an opportunity for divisions to have input into state and, where appropriate, into national policy direction, through GPDV.
The papers aim to give a clear overview of particular issues and their implications for general practice. Feedback from divisions on GPDV's discussion papers is always welcome and is used in the Board's development of policy positions, and any advocacy or representation GPDV undertakes on state-wide or national issues.
