DHS Allergy Working Party Department of Human Services has asked GPDV to obtain from Metro divisions a GP interested in serving as the GPDV representative on an Allergy Working Party. The Terms of Reference of the group is “to examine and report to the Minister for Health on issues related to the diagnosis, prevention and management of allergic disorders (including anaphylactic reactions) in children and adults in the Victorian Community.” Committee membership has representatives from RACP, RCH, RACGP,GPDV, Anaphylaxis Foundation, Ilhan Foundation, DHS, Office for Children, Education Dept. The appointment is for 12 months during which 4 meeting are scheduled. Because this working party will advise the Minister, all appointees must comply with the Victorian Cabinet guidelines which require specific documentation.
